VIA Q&A on OpenBook and Nano

by atticus ~ July 23, 2008

In an exclusive interview with Tim Brown, International Marketing Manager at VIA, Fiona Gatt from VIA Arena raised questions about the future of the OpenBook and the Nano processor. Here’s a snippet of the interview.

Q (Fiona): I understand you can’t make any product announcements in an interview, but do VIA have any OpenBook design wins in development yet?

A (Tim): Absolutely. All of the early indications point to the VIA OpenBook being even more successful than the VIA NanoBook reference design which is already presently available in 16 different iterations around the globe.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the first OpenBook in mass market. About the 16 iterations of NanoBooks, I wonder which are the missing models in this NanoBook listing.
