MSI Wind Clones Galore
by atticus ~ September 2, 2008
MSI Wind is probably the next most popular NetBook after Asus Eee PC. Like the Everex CloudBook, MSI Wind has been rebranded (or clones as some people like to call them) around the world under different OEMs. Apart from HDD size, colors and availability of Bluetooth, most of these NetBooks have the same specifications as the original MSI Wind U100.

Hi,
Which of the MSI Wind models around the world have the 8″ screen ?
Also will the new 6-cell battery for the MSI Wind U100 work in any of the clones sold around the world?
Thanks.
Mike

There’s one more I’ve found called Vision V100(2/3/4).
I’ve only seen it on local (Israel) retailer websites. The 2, 3 and 4 mainly differ in HD space with 160, 250 and 320GB respectively. The only exception is that 2 has 1.5GB of ram (3 and 4 have 2GB), and 4 has built-in GPS.

One important thing I love about blog posts is this: they provoke a thought in my mind. And once that happens, I feel like I need to provide feedback wishing it will be valuable to some people. Since there are many blogs and forums with many different points of view, they question your comprehension. It’s at these occasions when you have good insignt the rest may not have had, especially the blogger herself/himself. I find myself coming back to to your weblog simply because you have numerous excellent insights and you are actually at this a very long time, that is very inspiring and tells me you know a lot. Keep triggering imagination in others!

This is a good step to save paper. And will save the rain forests in Indonesia. Moreover, this will reduce the burden on the back of elementary school students. Of course this will make the traditional printing companies and governments in the third world into a panic because of their unpreparedness of information technology. . .
