Surcouf Presents the French Nanobook: La Révolution

The VIA Nanobook has made it to France. Offered by French retailer, Surcouf, the ultra portable would soon be available in the market. In fact, the gold color version is planned to be released on 20 May 2008. The white color version would be released in a later date in June.
The mini laptop is priced at €399 (USD615), which is about the same as Everex Cloudbook CE1200J when it’s first released. As a promotion, Surcouf is offering the first 200 buyers a free webcam module, even though a webcam module (or sometimes a VoIP handset module) is part of the standard package in other touch screen Nanobooks.
Surcouf La Révolution comes with 1Gb RAM, 60Gb HDD and Windows XP operating system. Here’re the UMPC specifications:
