Gaming on Everex Cloudbook CE1200V - Grand Theft Auto, HalfLife and Halo Tested
by atticus ~ February 26, 2008
This is probably what a lot of potential Cloudbook buyers wants to know - how does the Cloudbook fair in gaming? Luckily for us, Hey Baccalà! decided to install WinXP in his Cloudbook and ran a few games. The games Chris tested were Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, HalfLife Blue Shift and Halo.
As can be seen from his videos, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City ran pretty well. HalfLife Blue Shift was equally smooth, despite not supporting Cloudbook’s native resolution of 800 x 480. However, Cloudbook was unable to run Halo without any lag.
