Everex - Manufacturer of Packard Bell Easynote XS?

doody from VR-Zone revealed the following email response from Paul Kim, Director of Marketing for Everex, regarding the availability of Everex Cloudbook for the Singapore market.

Hi xxx,

Thank you for your interest in Everex. Unfortunately, we will not be selling the CloudBook in Singapore. As you speculated, we manufacture the EasyNote as well and have given territory rights to Packard Bell. Hope this answers your question.

I wonder who does ‘we’ refers to? Parent company First International Computer (FIC) or Everex itself?

CloudbookUMPC.com contacted Paul Kim to clarify his statement regarding the manufacturer of Everex Cloudbook and Packard Bell Easynote XS. He replied that he was referring to parent company First International Computer (FIC) and not Everex.

Here are his exact words:

First International Computer (our parent company) builds both units and has
granted certain territories to Packard Bell. Sorry for the confusion.
