Cool!
By next year, the specs might have become:
Storage: SSD
Wireless: 802.11n
LCD: OLED
Battery: There is a new type, published on BBC, which I can’t remember its name; but battery life will be much longer
Charging: Wireless charging
Any idea why is it WiMax and not 3G?

I think the 2009 launch date is too late, it should be launched this summer to destroy the EEEPC 900 which i was going to buy, i still might simply because I cant be bothered waiting until 2009 for a cloudbook max.

Seeing that Eee PC 900 is going to be out soon, I have to agree that 2009 might be too late for Cloudbook MAX. Eee PC 900 sure looks good with its 12Gb SSD (although I will still prefer Cloudbook’s 30Gb HDD) and 8.9″ screen (at the same form factor as Eee PC 4G). But I am slightly disappointed with the choice of a power brick for Eee PC 900.
However, note that Cloudbook MAX does come with “premium” features such as WiMAX, integrated GPS and dual webcams. Maybe we will get to see a 8.9″ Cloudbook soon since FIC has announced back in March the CE2A0 model which looks almost the same as Cloudbook CE1200V except for a larger screen and the additional of PCI Express card slot.

I hope that Cloudbook Max is sturdy like the CE1200V model, the first model. I really do like the key board on the first model, and the second model. However, The new technology in Cloud Max might help to over come this need for shorter size key board area frame.
