Everex Cloudbook SC1200T for Taiwan Market to Run WinXP

The UMPC from Everex is known as the Cloudbook SC1200T in Taiwan. Its specifications is almost similar to America’s Cloudbook CE1200V except for an upgrade in RAM size to 1Gb and a different choice of operating system. Everex Cloudbook SC1200T comes with Windows XP instead of the gOS which is found in CE1200V.

I have been unable to gather information on its price in Taiwan. However, a 3-day old set is being sold in auction for 12,000 TWD (USD 395).

Update (23/05/2008): According to the owner of the SC1200T, the UMPC is currently being sold in Taiwan with a retail price between 14,000 and 15,000 TWD ( USD 459 and USD 492).
