Everex Cloudbook New Release Date - 15th February 2008

ZaReason.com’s best guess on the shipping date for Everex Cloudbook is 15th February 2008. Well, that is an excellent guess. Everex had just put up a notice on its website declaring the latest release date for its highly anticipated Cloudbook:
“Find your $399 CloudBook at Walmart.com and ZaReason.com beginning 2/15/08“
Originally scheduled for sale from 25th January 2008, Everex announced a delay in Cloudbook’s availability to late February on 26th Januay 2008, leaving consumers disappointed. The new release date in mid February is just another 16 days from now, I am sure the Cloudbook is worth the wait!
Update (29/1/08): Everex.com is now showing an old announcement:”Find your $399 CloudBook at Walmart.com beginning 1/25/08.” Everex is a teaser.
Update (30/1/08): It’s showing the following now.

As I mentioned on my blog (http://michaelboman.org/blog/2008/01/30/updates-on-the-cloudbook-release-date/) I can’t seem to be able to confirm the new release date. Everex.com states the old release date (25/1/08) and ZaReason is referring to the ComputerWorld article that says the Cloudbook will be delayed until end of February.

ZaReason mentioned this on their site “Product releases are often rollercoaster rides and if you wish to ride this particular one with us, our latest best guess on ship date is Feb 15th, right before Valentine’s Day weekend.”
