Cloudbook MAX, the new mini laptop from Everex which features WiMAX, is now displayed on Everex website. The website confirmed that Cloudbook MAX will run Windows Vista Home Basic as its operating system. New details not available in VIA press release are that Cloudbook MAX comes with a 4-Cell, 2600mHA battery and 1Gb of RAM (up to 2Gb). A more specific date on its release has also been given:
Available by Q1-Q2 2009, at fine retailers throughout North America
Hopefully, we will get to see variants of Cloudbook MAX in other countries, even if they are under other brands like Packard Bell, Belinea, iDOT or Zyrex.
