CommunicAsia 2008 - Zyrex Ubud & Zyrex Anoa

Indonesian PC maker, Zyrex, is one of the few UMPC vendors to make their appearance at CommuniAsia 2008, an information and communications technology event hosted in Singapore. The staffs from Zyrex were pleasantly surprised to learn that I have heard of Zyrex Ubud, the VIA Nanobook that was was being displayed at their booth. Besides Zyrex Ubud, they were also showcasing the Zyrex Anoa which is running on Intel platform and comes with SSD instead of the usual HDD. There are two models of Zyrex Anoa, one with a 7 inch screen and another with a 9 inch screen. With its cheerful design and strapped on handle, the Zyrex Anoa is primarily targeted at school children.
