CloudbookUMPC.com in February 2008

Hi Folks,

This probably comes a little late but I realized that I didn’t post CloudbookUMPC.com February traffic reports. Not that the traffic received by CloudbookUMPC.com is impressive, but traffic can be a rough gauge of Cloudbook and Nanobooks popularity (since we received half the traffic from Google search). Let us see if there is anything interesting with the statistics.

There was a sharp spike in traffic in mid February and traffic continued to be higher for the second half of February. Well, as you probably guessed, mid February was when Cloudbooks started shipping and became available.

I always love to see the map overlay for traffic. In February, we received 9,222 visits from 107 countries. According to Google Analytics, there are 20,748 page views from these visits.

In February, I added a poll for Everex Cloudbook or Asus EeePC. So far, the two ultra portables are head to head in the polls. But for a Cloudbook-centric site, one would expect Everex Cloudbook to do better. Anyway, I have scheduled the poll to close on 31st March 2008. I haven’t decided on the next poll, any good ideas?
