Astone UMPC Reaches Malaysia, WinXP Drivers Available

Astone UMPC has made its appearance on Achieva Technology Malaysia’s website. On the Astone UMPC distributor webpage, besides product information on the ultra portable you would be able to download its brochure, WinXP drivers and Yahoo Messenger camera driver.

The Astone UMPC is currently on sale at Tech Hypermart for RM1599 (US493). The price includes a modular webcam and one year distributor warranty. As part of its introductory promotion, a free Astone KLEO Full Metal Shell HiFi Earphones (worth RM99) is thrown into the package. It’s unclear if Windows XP operating system comes with the mini laptop but if it does, US493 sounds like a really decent deal.

    I am not sure where it is available in Johore but techhypermart.com provides shipping within Malaysia. Or since Johore is so near to Singapore, you might wish to hop over and buy it.
