Aristo Pico 740: VIA Nanobook for Poland
by atticus ~ March 25, 2008

Aristo Pico 740, an ultra portable based on VIA Nanobook UMD reference design, has been released in Poland. From what I can make out from Aristo website, Pico 740 comes with a modular webcam (according to specifications) or modular VoIP handset (according to this photo). For the operating system department, there is a choice of Windows XP Home and Professional. As you might have guessed, a 7 inch touch panel screen is included.
From web store Mrach.com, it seems that Aristo Pico 740 is available with Linux, even though it is unclear which Linux distribution it is using. It also appears that the web store is selling the UMPC with a modular webcam instead of a VoIP handset. The price of Aristo Pico 740 starts from US$711 (1,6230 PLN).
