Everex has earlier released a recovery ISO for its Cloudbook CE1200V gOS. In that release, it’s advised that the image must be installed from external DVD drive. Now, Everex has released a GHO version which is to be installed from a USB flash drive. Note that Symantec Ghost Explorer is required.

We know that the screens of Nanobooks can be pushed back more than 180 degrees. But what are the practical uses? tantantiniiin from PhiMUG had the interesting idea of flipping the screen of Astone UMPC and fitting it to the top of his car’s dashboard. With a GPS receiver module and software, it could serve as a car navigation device.

I hadn’t been visiting Walmart.com for some time but I just noticed that they are now selling Everex Cloudbook CE1200V at US$388. Newegg.com and CircuitCity.com are still holding out at US$399. CircuitCity provides free shipping for orders above US$24 while Walmart provides free shipping for stores pick-up.
